This weekend was our weekend to begin the transformation of our guest bedroom into Lily's Big Girl Room. For those of you who don't know our house, it's cozy and we love it but it does only have three bedrooms and we have had to play plenty of "musical furniture" to accommodate our growing family. We have kept our second bedroom as a guest and a "keep all" room and the third bedroom as the nursery. Now that Baby Emma is coming in THREE SHORT MONTHS we have decided to move Lily to the bigger second bedroom and become unattached to her room so that Emma can have the nursery this spring.

So, the transformation began. We have definitely built up "Lily's Big Girl Room" and she absolutely loves it and runs to it every time we mention it. Hopefully, it will be a seamless transition.

Mike painted two coats of Sassy Lilac, very appropriate we think :)

LOVE the color! Can't wait to see when its all done. So referring to your New Years resolution...anything we can help with to get the room ready or watch Lily so you two can work on it this weekend or something? :)
