This weekend was THE weekend we wanted to get Miss Lily into her new room. The only necessary items for the room to be completed were the room darkening shades (what Mike is doing in the pics above), move her crib, glider, and a bigger dresser we had in storage (actually the dresser my parents bought me when I was little).
Lily and I began moving her books into her new bookcase and things from around the house that I wanted to put into her room, like her babydoll center, 'L' board and some other misc. toys. Still a mess, still a cluster and still not decorated but we'll get there....(refer back to my resolutions: take it easy and stop trying to control things, yep this is a hard one to let go, but I am).
We wanted to get the major move done in the morning so that she could have a nap under her belt before we all had to tackle the bedtime routine for the first time. And with our luck, no huge problems, Miss Lily took to her room amazingly well! She slept for her nap and all through the night on Sat!! Success!!
As you can see, Lily loves her room!
