This morning began like every school morning. Lily got up, ate breakfast while she watched a show, got dressed and shortly before we were to leave I woke Emma up. This morning they hugged like usual and had some cuddle time before we started heading out the door.
But, as I was gathering up everything Lily turned to me and said that she didn't feel good. Well, she said it before but she went along with getting ready so didn't think twice about it. As she stood in the kitchen doorway she proceeded to get sick three times.
To make a long story short, Lily couldn't keep food down all day until she took the meds the dr called in to settle her stomach. She must have caught the 24 hr bug going around in the dr waiting room yesterday while we were waiting to get the girls their shots. Great.
Pros: No one else in the family got sick, the bug was gone within 24 hours, we have extra stomach calming meds left over, only missed one day of school
Cons: The newly steam cleaned carpets now are not as clean, I had to hover and follow Lily around with a trash can and annoyed her to death, the house smelled liked lysol for two days
