Today began Emma's Special Weekend.
Family came into town yesterday and will arrive through tomorrow morning to join us at our church where Miss Emma Grace will be baptized.
As we did with Lily, we decided to have a party but this one was a dinner get together instead of a brunch after the late 11am service. Due to sickness in the Maryland Checks, many of them were not able to join us but my parents and good friend Trish helped us put a dent in the food.
Lily was wonderful in knowing this was for Emma. This was for Emma's Special Day. We are not amazed at how well she has dealt with all of the attention being on her sister but we are extremely proud.
