Two and a Half Years Old

Seriously?!? I can't believe it. I simply can not. How did this happen? Feels like we just brought Lily home from the hospital. I could go on and on...but really all I finally realize is that time goes by tooo fast.

Some interesting facts and tidbits about our oldest...
*She is simply amazing and she surprises each and every day.
*She is the best big sister.
*She is smart and makes unbelievable connections.
*She has an awesome personality and finds humor in a lot of things.
*She can sing every single song on our kiddie cds.
*She can carry on a conversation with you.
*She pretends. A Lot.
*When she has pretzels at lunch she bites them trying to make letters and shapes.
*She loves to jump especially while saying yes or no, for emphasis.
*She knows what she wants and what she doesn't want.
*She's unaware of how strong she is.
*She only enjoys certain shows and loves movie nights.
*She constantly asks..."What time is it?" but only recognizes your answer if you end it in o'clock
*At dinner, she'll ask how your day was, and how was work daddy?
*She is completely 100% potty trained (except for bedtime).
*She knows author, illustrator, title, title page and where to begin reading on the page.
*As you read her a story she will finish sentences if you stop while reading.
*She knows how to get dressed and undressed but is actually doing most of it by herself.
*She knows numbers up to 16.
*She knows her ABC's and can sing the song (and when we start to sing with her she turns and says "No Mommy sing" or "No Daddy sing" so we have to stop and she'll have to start all over).
*She is now doing 8-10 piece puzzles all by herself.
*One of her favorite sayings is "Oh My Goodness".
*She has a bag of stalling tricks to prolong going to bed i.e. my back hurts (she wants you to rub it), thirsty or water please, one more book, bink needs a wash..rinse it off.
*Identifies a sport and teams and asks Who's Playing?
*Wants to know the names of stores we are in and what we need if I'm making one of my lists.
*Is one of the sweetest, most polite little girls that we know...
We Love You Lil!
