= Lily staying home from school.
Lily wasn't necessarily sick but sounded like it. And, if I heard someone in her class sounding like she did I wouldn't want her in school. So, to stay on the safe side she stayed home today.
Lily has a cough and Emma has the ear infection so we stayed home today to get some rest and get better. Lily also needed to have something to do.
I gave Lily my box of markers and it unleashed a drawing monster :).
Her "cupcake with sprinkles" and some impressive scribbling.
Then I made Lil a journal like Sid's and she ate it up! Here's her drawing of a cow. You can see the head to the upper right, the body and legs and all of the little lines is the grass.
Then she attempted a cat with a zig-zag tail. She also kept asking how to spell all of our names. Once I wrote them down she sat there pretending to write them over and over. I'm sure if I look close enough I could probably see an "M" and "I" somewhere :).
