Dear Miss Emma,

Happy 6 Months!

The past six months have absolutely flown by and it is surprising me that you are already half a year old, I can not believe an entire half year has gone by since we brought you home. Not only are you the best addition to our family we could have hoped for but you are simply the brightest ray of sunshine we see everyday. You make all of our lives fuller and much, much happier now that you are here. You are the most amazing baby girl. You make everyone smile, make us see things from your six month old point of view and bring out a side of Lily that we've never seen before.

You are our Emmaberry...We Love You.

Now for some fun 6 mth Emma tidbits:

*Has very blonde hair that continues to grow mostly on the top

*Her eyes are very, very blue

*She wears mostly 9 mth clothes

*Diapers: disposable-size 2, cloth-size 2

*Takes 2 naps a day, 30-45min in the morning and 1-2.5hrs in the afternoon

*To get her take a nap, she still must be held on her side, bounced and swayed

*She takes the best naps while being held :)

*She takes a bath every night and knows what's going to happen when we go into the bathroom

*She goes to bed by 830 but still wakes up during the night at least once

*She eats breakfast (rice cereal and fruit) and dinner (oatmeal and veggies) but mostly the fruit and veggies need to be mixed with the cereal otherwise it'll come back to us.

*Along with 2 meals a day she has 3-7.5oz bottles

*She is craazy active

*Smiles when we walk into a room and say hi

*She loves to be thrown in the air, bounced high on your knee or being slightly startled

*Loves to be tickled on her tummy, ribs or on her thighs

*Can manipulate several toys correctly (gumball machine, pop-up toy, farm and activity table)

*Is absolutely fascinated with Maci and loves when she gets to "pet" her

*Kicks legs when she gets excited or happy

*Will now reach for us when we give her our hands to pick her up

*She gets ecstatic when she sees Lily

*Is MOBILE

*Likes watching tv with Lily from her exersaucer

*Tries to pull herself up

*When held under her arms, she will stand and then walk a few steps

*Puts everything into her mouth to chew on it and droools

*Had to lower her crib mattress

*Making more sounds and trying to communicate
