This evening after a long day of doing things around the house we ventured down to the oceanfront to enjoy the end of summer at the Neptune Festival. We were absolutely amazed at the amount of people there and were really mad at ourselves for not making a better effort to go Friday night instead.
We saw lots of gorgeous sandcastles. Lily loved them all and of course posed in front of a few.
We ran into the Stahl family next to these turtles and decided to take advantage of the photo opportunity although we didn't realize the huge Penske truck in the background until it was too late. Oh well.
Emma was happy as a clam in the bjorn. She made so many people smile with her huge smiles, consistent raspberry blowing and kicking of her legs. Lily enjoyed her time at the beach as she always does and ended our evening with "Mommy, Daddy thank you sandcastles beach".
