Lily has really become Mommy's Little Helper around the house and I couldn't be more thrilled. She loves it so much that she tries to help even when I'm trying to just get some things accomplished. BUT, instead of getting frustrated I'm counting my blessings on having such a sweet, helpful little girl!
Since February ended we undecorated the house. That meant all hearts came down :(. And who helped? Lily did! She took down all of the window clings and put them on the kitchen counter in a pile Then she tackled all of the hearts on the doors and walls around the house too. She even got the hang of taking the tape off the back without ripping a single paper heart!
Next Mommy Helper activity: baking muffins.
Standing on the chair at the kitchen counter is semi-new, about a month or so, but she usually only helps out during the prep of breakfast and lunch. But this morning she helped in all aspects of baking muffins! She helped dump the mix, pour the water in the bowl, even stirred it with a fork and placed all paper cups into the muffin pan! She has been so proud of her handy work that every day this week she has had a muffin as soon as she got up!
