Info and Disclaimer

Ok...so my wonderful husband has tons of posts waiting in the wings to add pictures and videos too but there just insn't enough time in the day to get everything done, hence the blog has taken a HUGE backseat.

1.My class is finally winding down. I should be done with my last book in the next few days and when I have some other things done I hope to be backdating a lot. Oh, and if you want to check this site out goodreads.com, it's great. My professor introduced us to this site and we have to do a lot of our work on here so if you would like to see what I've had to do, the 40 books I've had to read, friend me on there.

2.We have a new website in our friend section, Bryan and Kristin Waugh. If you haven't clicked on it yet. You should. Mike actually lived with them for a few years before we met, in Newport News. Bryan worked at the shipyard with Mike and they are good friends even though we haven't seen them in awhile and only live or lived in Suffolk. We met them a few weekends ago for dinner and were so happy to see them before they set off on their huge adventure! You really should go and check them out, and follow them too! You can always follow them on facebook, they need as many people as they can get to follow them. I think they're hoping that their numbers may open some doors for them along their travels.....

3.We are sooo in Christmas mode around the Check House. And, how much fun is it with two little girls that get so excited when we turn on the lights on the Christmas tree! And, let me just say, I wish I could use "Santa's Watching" all year long...actually, I just might :).

4.Last week, I took part in Lily's school first ever stop n shop. I had my own table, kinda like a craft show, and sold tons of stuff. New things like reusable snack bags, binky clips and tons of felt flowers will be in the etsy shop probably after Christmas and after filling out the dozen or so orders I took last week. :) Another reason why I have been out of blog/email/technology world for the past few weeks.

And....my only hope is that I can get my hair did this week before Mike goes to Deluth MN for the weekend :) Here's to crossing my fingers.
