Busy Week

This week Lily and I were busy with playdates and friends! Wednesday we joined our friends at a nearby playground. This was the first time I let go enough of Lily for her to climb and go down slides all by herself! She even went down the tall twisty slide but on a sad note she did fall off the big girl swing (backwards and landed on her back) because I got distracted by some dumb squawking geese flying overhead. I don't want to blame my dumb pregnant mind all the time...but I am for this one; sorry Lil. Thursday we met Elizabeth and Lorelei, Melissa and Chase and Kira for lunch at Applebee's. It was a wonderful idea on Monday when we made the plans since we had just gotten coupons for free kid lunches. But now going through the whole ordeal with four kids under the age of 3, destroying a table and making the place look like a warzone by the time we left I think we'd give it a second thought next time we get coupons. But we had fun and the three of us were able to chat :) Today we had fun meeting Elizabeth and Lorelei at the new Landstown Commons for some coffee at Starbucks, a trip to Kohl's and a visit to PetSmart. It was wonderful being able to get out of the house for a few hours and have wonderful company while doing it :)

And what's better to end a week of friend time than a HUG!
