While Lily is at school, Emma and I have a fun filled three hours.
Some days, of course like today, we had to do food shopping but definitely made up for it when we got home. We played outside, she got to swing, and we watered our plants.
This was the first time that Emma got to do this by herself, without big sissy running the show.
She loves when Lily is home and Lily really does teach Emma a lot but it has done Emma so much good to have some alone time to figure some things out on her own.
These three days a week have really brought Emma and I so close.
I'm going to miss her next year when she goes to "Mia's school" for two morning as week :(.
She was very serious about watering these plants.
So much concentration, I can't get enough of those cheeks!
She did take a break to chase a bird out of the yard.
Since we tilled a lot of the yard, the birds have been flocking to it to get their fair share of worms. The girls love watching them and usually yell, "Look, a bird! Ohhhh, he got a big one!"
Emma's "That's what I thought" walk back after successfully scaring that robin away.
Love this little girl to pieces.
