Today was a special day at Lily's school. It was a Mother's Day Tea. We received an invite last week to ask us to attend (decorated by Lily) this morning at 1130. We were told we would have a small presentation and a special snack with our child. :)
A little performance by all of the kids for all of the moms. Very sweet and entertaining!
Afterwards one of the teachers read the book, "Love You Forever" by Robert Munsch.
Yes, all of the moms were very teary eyed and tissues were passed around the room. :)
Once the moms got themselves together we were given a special snack, a heart pin that was decorated with sequins and sparkly things and a flower before we left.
It was quite special to have this time with My Lily and a wonderful early Mother's Day present.
