Daddy, Em and I picked Lily up from school and went directly to Mt. Trashmore for a surprise picnic. Lily has been asking to have a picnic since January, or so it seems. Today was a record high of 86 degrees and the new playground was packed. In typical Lily fashion, she surveyed the playground for a bit, walked around and then decided she would rather go eat. She made sure I had everything and was very pleased that I had not forgotten anything.
Yay for special family afternoons.
