Happy Birthday Lily!
We already had your party so this was the first time that we were able to spend it just the four of us. It was a great Lily Day and we did so much that it seemed as though there were four different days.
We woke you up by singing Happy Birthday. You were shy, didn't want to get out of your covers and took a few minutes to wake up. Your elf, Fern, came back to wish you a wonderful birthday. Of course, she had to do a few things for you too! She left you a note, filled our hallway with balloons and covered the doorway into the kitchen with streamers. You were so excited that Fern was here that she went everywhere with you today, even Sam's Club!
After the excitement of Fern and playing in the balloons and streamers you opened your presents.
You were sweet as always and kept thanking us for all of your presents.
After your favorite breakfast, cinnamon rolls, you got right to creating your masterpieces using your new art supplies. Emma loved being able to share in your birthday and worked on her own art piece by drawing with chalk.
After nap, it was warm enough to venture outside to play while Dad grilled chicken for dinner. You played with Emma so nicely! You pushed her on the swings, played with her in the sandbox and even gave her a ride around the yard in your Princess car.
After dinner came cake. Your choice of chocolate cake with vanilla cream cheese icing was delicious! You refrained from picking up your piece of cake and ate it with a fork.
Lil, we look at you and we can't believe that you are three. But, we also look at you and can't believe that you're only three. You are growing into such a special little girl and we are so fortunate and blessed to have you as our daughter. We couldn't be more proud of you.
