Drawing

Lily is really into drawing now. She loves to "scribble" using her Christmas present from Uncle John and Aunt Sara, The Crayola Color Me a Song. But that's where the scribbling ends. Lily is only interested in drawing if there is a purpose to it, like drawing people.
This paper was done completely...Completely...by herself! I was in the kitchen keeping Emma occupied with snacks while I made some korker ribbon for some bows. As I was doing this Lily was busy at her blue table and she was saying, "Mom, look what I did". And, of course, I just said "Wow, look at what you did?!?" without really looking because I was busy. :( So when I was done, I was floored by what she had done. This is the best paper she did out of the six or seven she did. I can't believe she did this all by herself!
The other day when we came home from the store I put Emma in her crib since she fell asleep in the car and I began unpacking the groceries. All of a sudden I noticed Miss Lily at her aquadoodle mat.
And, before I knew it her entire mat
was full of faces!
Sooo proud of you Miss Lily!

You probably already do this, but make sure you date and save that picture. I put Zoe's into an artwork binder and she LOVES looking back at her drawings from when she was younger. :)
