First Appointment of the Day: Lily's 2 year old Well Visit
The appointment was pretty uneventful other than Lily immediately saying bye-bye and consistent screaming from the time we entered the exam room until she was able to leave the office. We discussed everything from potty training, talking, first dental visit to her horrible allergies.
We also have her 2 year old stats which are all in the 90th% and continue on a steady path up the growth chart:
Weight: 31 pounds
Height: 36 inches
Head: 19.25 inches
Plus, I was able to use the Height Predictor on Babycenter! Something I've wanted to do since I found it about two years ago. It takes into account your toddler's stats at 2 yrs old and predicts how tall she will be when she turns 18....and the predictor says Lily will be
5 feet 9 inches tall
Perfect for sports!!
Second Appointment of the Day: Our 39 week OB appointment
Some thought we wouldn't make it this long and some knew we would be overdue or be induced. I am now on the path to being induced for the second time and would really rather it be that way. I don't have to worry about going into spontaneous labor, having my water break in public or when I bend over to pick up Lily and everything is planned out!
Today we found out that we are still 1 cm and even though my Dr, sneaky lady that she is, stripped some of my membranes Baby Emma is still not here (as of Wed evening). We now have an ultrasound on Friday afternoon to fulfill a silly hospital requirement of being seen within 72 hours of induction and then on to the hospital Monday morning at 830!
We are thrilled to almost have Emma here with us but at the same time are relishing in the fact that we have had this week to finalize her arrival with last minute organizing, laundry and shopping. Plus, now Lily and Emma will most likely be 2 yrs 9 days apart which is fitting since Mike and I are 1 yr 9 days apart. Funny how things like this work out :).
Now, if only these next few days fly by like the rest of my pregnancy did!!
