First Appointment

This evening was our first appointment with Dr. Burfoot, the same OB that delivered Lily :). The three of us went and Lil was a very good girl and made lots of friends in the waiting room, of course. The appointment was routine but found out that our Estimated Due Date is a little earlier than we had predicted using the calculator on BabyCenter....it's not April 18-20, it's

about two weeks after Miss Lily celebrates her second birthday!! Oh my goodness!

Nana and I talk pretty much everyday especially before a week long visit. Well, this morning was no different other than she called right after I got off the phone making my first appointment with my OB. Mike and I decided we were going to wait until late Sept/early Oct to let everyone know the good news but it just came blurting out, I couldn't even help it. And as soon as I told her I started crying. So...because Mom can also not keep a secret we decided to skype that evening to tell Grampa. At least they can talk to eachother and now it feels REAL, we're having a BABY!!

Surprise!!!

Ok, so this is our first post to our new blog and a very important announcement as you can see as well. AND...the dumb picture loader won't load this picture correctly so I am just letting it be. Everyone can tell by this that we are indeed PREGNANT!!

This past weekend my brother, aka Uncle Mark, came and stayed the night after the Dave Matthews concert so Mike and I decided that this morning would be the morning to see if we are expecting a new family member. So, at 530 I had to go to the bathroom and decided to go ahead and take the test. Did my business....and by the time I was ready to wash my hands I KNEW! I ran into bed and woke up Mike and made him go check to make sure my eyes weren't playing tricks on me. He came back with the biggest smile on his face :) We are elated and needless to say I couldn't go back to sleep.
